Purpose

You do not need to use a specific form to make a complaint.
Acknowledgement of complaints
Ginger and Tails will acknowledge receipt of your data protection complaint within 30 calendar days of receiving it.
The acknowledgement may request additional information if required to understand or investigate the complaint.
Investigation and response
Upon receiving a complaint, Ginger and Tails will:
- Review the concerns raised
- Make any appropriate enquiries or investigations
- Consider whether any corrective action is required
- Keep you informed of progress where appropriate
Complaints will be handled without undue delay and as promptly as reasonably possible.
Outcome
Once my investigation is complete, I will provide a written response explaining:
- The outcome of the complaint
- Any action taken, where applicable
- Any further steps available to you if you remain dissatisfied
Escalation to the Information Commissioner’s Office
I hope to resolve any concerns directly. However, if you remain dissatisfied with my response, you have the right to raise your concerns with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
