The perfect pop-in for your pet

At Ginger and Tails Colchester, my pet visit services start at 20 minutes and are most often for cats and small animals. During each visit, I take care of whatever your pet needs at that time, whether that’s feeding, fresh water, company, or a quick check-in. Longer visits may be available, depending on my schedule and your pet’s needs. Before booking, I always arrange a free meet and greet to understand your pet’s routine and make sure they feel comfortable.

Pet visits take place within a flexible time window, rather than at a fixed time. This allows me to fit visits around existing commitments while still offering a reliable service.

I’m DBS checked, fully insured to hold keys, registered with the ICO and certified in pet first aid, with a full first aid kit kept in my vehicle.

Pet visits include a 4-mile round trip from my base in CO3 3. If you’re located more than 2 miles away, an additional mileage charge of 45p per mile applies. I generally focus on nearby areas but am always happy to talk things through.

Weekend pet visits are charged at time and a half for visits of two hours or less. Bank holiday visits are charged at double time. Weekend visits are usually part of an ongoing booking rather than one-off ad hoc requests.
