Awards and recognition

Throughout 2026, I have been lucky enough for Ginger and Tails to have been named a finalist and winner in a number of UK awards. I even got invited to Downing Street because of one of them!

April 2026: Finalist in Small Business Britain’s The Small Awards, At Your Service category

June 2026: Finalist in the The Small Business Awards, Customer Care category

July 2026: Winner of the SME Business Elite Awards, Best Small Group Dog Walking Specialist 2026 – Essex

September 2026: Finalist in the Pet Industry Federation Awards, Dog Walking Business of the Year category

I am so honoured for my small business to have been recognised across so many national awards, especially considering Ginger and Tails only operates in a very small area and that it’s only me in the business!

Ginger and Tails has always been about the animals I care for, and they don’t care if I win an award or not! But I hope some of these recognitions help reassure anyone thinking of using me to look after their pets, of the passion, professionalism and love I put into running my business – your best friends will always be in the hands of someone who truly cares about them.
